RCMP charge Airdrie woman with fraud in relation to fake travel vouchers

AIRDRIE (660 NEWS) – A woman suspected of selling fake travel vouchers will be traveling to Alberta provincial court in the near future.

Mounties in Airdrie opened an investigation into the illegitimate certificates in May.

Investigators say the tickets were being sold to unsuspecting victims, who would later find out their purchase was a scam.

Alexandra Beckow has been charged with fraud and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19.

If you have any information regarding this scam or any other cases you can contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
