Massive ALERT Calgary drug bust nets millions

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A two-year-long international investigation led by police in Calgary has nabbed millions of dollars in drugs, cash and over a dozen guns.

With the help of U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration officers, ALERT Calgary intercepted record amounts of cocaine and fentanyl.

The drugs are worth about $15 million, while over $4.5 million in cash was also found, along with 13 firearms.

Seven people have been arrested so far.
