Lane closures this weekend on Bow Trail

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Lane closures along Bow Trail in the southwest will meet many Calgary drivers starting Friday.
As part of the Bow Trail widening project, some lanes will be closed at Bow Trail and 85 Street SW from Friday morning until Monday at 3 p.m.
Lane closures: 85 ST will have lanes closed between Wentworth DR and Strathlea Ave SW starting today at 9 a.m. until Monday at 3 p.m. This closure accommodates road construction. Expect delays and use alternate route. #yyctraffic

Calgary police will be directing traffic during the Friday afternoon rush hour to help move vehicles through the area.
They also recommend using Old Banff Coach Rd. SW and 17 Ave. SW as alternate routes.
