Justin Trudeau will visit Calgary after all

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Liberal leader Justin Trudeau will be visiting Calgary, only days before the federal election.

Trudeau will be attending a rally in the northeast late Saturday night, in support of Calgary-Skyview candidate Nirmala Naidoo.

The event will happen at the Magnolia Banquet Hall on Falconridge Blvd., starting at 9:45 p.m. and running until 11:30 p.m.

People can RSVP by heading to the Liberal Party’s website.

Trudeau has not yet visited Calgary through the campaign, while Conservative leader Andrew Scheer and Green Party leader Elizabeth May both have.

NDP leader has also not visited Calgary during the election campaign.

Calgary-Skyview is currently represented by former Liberal and now Independent MP Darshan Kang, who was booted out of the Liberal caucus following sexual assault allegations.
