Calgary Hitmen looking for redemption

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — The Calgary Hitmen’s silver anniversary season continues with a date versus the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Saddledome.

The Friday night tilt marks the first meeting between the sides this 2019-2020 campaign.

However, it’s more than just a game for the Hitmen, who are coming off a 9-3 drubbing at the hands of the Saskatoon Blades earlier this week.

“It’s easy to get down on ourselves and turn on each other,” captain Mark Kastelic explained. “But the biggest thing is to just rally up and stay together as a team and remain positive because it’s still early in the season. We know what we’re capable of. We have a lot of good guys in the room.”

Monday’s lopsided result aside, the Hitmen have had a strong opening stretch, going 4-2-1-0, well over the .500 mark.
