CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Thanksgiving rolls around and most are thinking about diving into their turkey dinner surrounded by family and friends reflecting on all they’re thankful for.
Not in the Calgary neighbourhood of Ramsay though, they’re thankful that their tall mascot is alive and well.

It’s a wild turkey that has been wandering around Ramsay for an unknown period of time now and a Facebook group has taken notice.
The Loyal Followers of The Ramsay Turkey have named and chronicled Turk’s movements about the community since May of this year.
While you can admire the magnificent fowl, Calgarians are reminded not to feed any wildlife in the city.
People have also snapped photos of the big guy from their cars, so please pull over if you encounter Turk and want to snap a photo.
Just came across the Ramsay Turkey. I tried to get a better photo, but he flew the coupe. ???? #yyc pic.twitter.com/kktKOBAdpA
