Calgary Flames' Michael Stone (26) pushes Winnipeg Jets' Matt Hendricks to the ice during the first period of their NHL hockey game in Calgary, on Jan. 20, 2018. DALLAS (660 NEWS) — Head coach Bill Peters is adjusting his blueline as the Calgary Flames look for a win on the road.

Michael Stone is set to make his 2019-2020 season debut on a pairing with TJ Brodie versus the Dallas Stars.

“For me, I’m looking to compliment Brodes as best as I can and play the way I know I’m capable of playing,” Stone told Sportsnet’s Peter Loubardias after morning skate. “Just play, really. Don’t try and do too much. Don’t do anything that I wouldn’t normally do just because. I just want to play hockey.”

This is the first of three matchups this season between the Flames and Stars. Over the span of his career, forward Johnny Gaudreau has scored nine times versus Dallas, but it’s captain Mark Giordano who leads the way in scoring against the Stars with 16 points in 35 games.
