Flames sign GM Brad Treliving to multi-year contract extension

CALGARY (SPORTSNET) — The Calgary Flames have signed general manager Brad Treliving to a multi-year contract extension, the team announced Thursday.

Treliving was hired to oversee the Flames in April 2014.

The club has made the playoffs three times under his leadership, with its most recent post-season run resulting in a five-game exit at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche last season.

The Flames captured the Pacific Division title for the first time since 2006 in 2018-19 and finished with 107 points to top the Western Conference.
