Car2Go leaving Calgary, fleet to be moved or sold at auction

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — With Car2Go due to leave Calgary’s streets at the end of the month, what will happen to their fleet?

The company confirms that the 600 vehicles in service will either be moved to other markets, or sold.

A private broker will handle the sales and people will be able to find them in auctions.

Last week, Car2Go announced issues with the transportation market are forcing them to leave Calgary, Austin, Denver, Portland and Chicago instead of focusing their efforts on other major cities like Montreal, Vancouver and New York City.
