Airdrie man missing after canoe trip in Banff

BANFF (660 NEWS) – A young man from Airdrie is missing after setting out for a canoe trip.
RCMP say 26-year-old Yannick Bastien was last seen Saturday evening when he talked about plans to paddle at Lake Minnewanka.
Police have recovered Bastien’s truck and canoe at the parking lot near the lake, but there was no sign of Yannick.
If you believe you saw Bastien in the past few days, you’re asked to contact Banff RCMP.
