Police investigating alleged sexual assault in Hillhurst

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police say the witness they were searching for contacted them Thursday. Investigators are still searching for the suspect.
On Sept 2 around 9 p.m., a 17-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted in the northwest.
Police said the girl was approached by a man as she left the 8 Street C-Train station.
It’s believed the man followed her and began talking to her while sitting on a bench on Kensington Rd. and then sexually assaulted her.
Police describe the suspect as having light-brown skin, with black hair and a moustache. He spoke with a Hispanic accent and was wearing tan pants and brown shoes.
