Man suffers serious burns in backyard fire

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A man has been badly burnt after an incident involving a backyard fire in the city’s northeast.

According to police, just before 8 p.m. Tuesday at a home on Edmonton Trail near 48 Avenue, an accelerant was poured onto a fire causing a man to suffer serious burns.

He was then rushed to hospital.

No other injuries have been reported.
