Driver caught doing triple the speed limit in airport tunnel

Calgary (660 NEWS) — Another case of extreme speeding that will leave you shaking your head.
Saturday around 8:30 a.m. a traffic unit officer clocked a Ferrari speeding through the airport tunnel doing 158kph.
Driver caught travelling 158 km/h in a 50 km/h construction zone.

There’s construction underway there and the limit is 50kph. The driver now has a mandatory court appearance.

CPS is also reminding motorists to slow down in construction zones and when passing emergency vehicles and tow trucks with lights flashing.
Last week someone zipped by one doing 103kph when the limit was 60kph.
