New games, activities give kids online privacy lessons

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Is it okay to share a password with a friend?

Answering “yes” would set you back in a new game put out by Alberta’s privacy commissioner.

It’s one of the lessons kids can learn in several activities that parents, teachers, and kids are being encouraged to play.

In Privacy Snakes and Ladders, players can climb up a ladder when they make a good decision or lose out by slipping down a snake when they make the wrong choice.

With children going online earlier than ever before, parents are being encouraged to make sure kids are internet savvy.

You can find the activities online, share them and print them off.
