Driver facing charges after trailer rollover on QEII Hwy.

OLDS (660 NEWS) – The southbound lanes of the QEII Highway have reopened after a travel trailer rolled on its side after it was rear-ended by a box truck on Thursday afternoon. Two people in the box truck suffered injuries and have since been released from the hospital.

The driver of the box truck is facing charges after Innisfail RCMP suspect they were distracted when they veered out of their lane and into the trailer.
Reports had said traffic was backed up for at least 10 kilometres near Olds.
The rollover was reported into our newsroom shortly after 1:00 p.m. and was cleared up shortly after 3:00 p.m., a two-hour shutdown.
