The man took possession of the vehicle on May 30, and almost two months later, police found out the same thing happened in Ontario just days earlier.
It’s believed the man stole a Quebec man’s identity and carried a fake driver’s license, social insurance number, and health care card.
Police say the man speaks with a French accent, has multiple tattoos on his body including his back, chest, and arms, and has an identifying mark on his left hand.
If you have any information about his whereabouts, you’re asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
