Downtown Calgary crosswalks will be getting a bit more colourful

CALGARY (660NEWS) — A few crosswalks in downtown Calgary are getting a face lift this Sunday.
Permanent pride and trans pride flags are being painted on Stephen Avenue adjacent to Centre Street.
Calgary Pride says local businesses are supporting the project.
A celebration is being held on Monday July 22nd and Councillors Evan Woolley and Druh Farrell will be making speeches at 12:30 p.m.
It will also include free gelato and a reading with royalty presentation led by local drag queen and king performers.
