RCMP respond to fatal climbing accident southwest of Calgary

CROWSNEST PASS (660 NEWS) — A hiker has died after falling off a mountain approximately 250 kilometres southwest of Calgary.

RCMP responded to a report that a man had fallen from Crowsnest Mountain Wednesday afternoon.

Kananaskis Search and Rescue found the 58-year-old man from the Czech Republic dead.

RCMP said that the climber was hiking with two friends at the time of the accident.
