CALGARY(660NEWS) — A local pet store owner is asking for the public’s help to find two puppies that were stolen early Saturday morning.

Multiple windows at the Top Dog Store in the northeast was smashed to get the dogs including the kennel that had four animals inside.

Owner Robert Church is concerned for the safety of the pets.

“I’m trying to recover two puppies that were stolen from my store in a pretty violent manner, they shattered glass in the front of the kennel all over them and I’m worried about their health and their safety.”

The two dogs are micro-chipped and anyone who sees the puppies are asked to call police.

Animals left alone overnight in a “Pet Store” should be outlawed. How can the owner state he is concerned when they are totally unsupervised for more than *12* hours a day? This is irresponsible in and of itself!
