CALGARY (660 NEWS) — In light of the rain, the Calgary Stampede has announced a few more parking restrictions and road closures ahead of the parade on Friday morning.

The changes are around Fort Calgary where the parade will form-up before getting underway.

The road closures include:

6th Avenue SE from 5th Street to 6th Street SE
7th Avenue SE from 5th Street to 6th Street SE
5th Street SE from 6th Avenue to 7th Avenue SE
6th Street SE from 6th Avenue to 7th Avenue SE

The closures and restrictions will end after the parade has concluded.

In a statement, Chair of the Calgary Stampede Parade Committee Karen Franco says the 107th Calgary Stampede Parade will go on.

“As always we will deliver the best parade possible to launch The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth!!”
