CALGARY (660 NEWS) — When a Ghostbusters film is scheduled to shoot in Calgary, who do you call to star in it?

… Paul Rudd.

In a video posted to YouTube on Thursday, Rudd was thrilled about joining the ‘Ghostbusters 2020’ cast and couldn’t hold in his emotions.

“I can’t wait to join the cast this fall for Ghostbusters; in fact, I’m sliming myself right now.”

The movie is expected to begin shooting this fall in the city with many fans hoping members of the original cast are brought back, but none have been confirmed yet.

Sources say the movie will be an extension of the original film and is going to be directed by the son of Ivan Reitman, ‘Ghostbusters’ original director.

The film is expected to be released next summer.
