Man sent to hospital after motorcycle crash in southwest

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A man in his late 20’s is in hospital after a crash involving a motorcycle in the city’s southwest.

Calgary police say they were called to 33rd Avenue just east of Crowchild Trail around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday where they found the driver of the motorcycle in critical life threatening condition.

He was rushed to hospital by EMS and has since been upgraded to stable.

Police say they believe speed played a factor in the crash.
