CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Canada Soccer has announced it is investigating allegations of racism directed at member of Calgary’s Cavalry FC.

Players from Calgary and Hamilton’s Forge FC were involved in a fight following a match last Tuesday.

Some Calgary players allege the scuffle was sparked by a racial slur by a member of Hamilton’s coaching staff.

Both teams are already facing disciplinary action for “failing to ensure their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion after the final whistle.”
