Parts of Banff National park closed until November

BANFF (660 NEWS) – A portion of Banff National Park has been closed due to wildlife activity.

According to Parks Canada, the area closed stretches from the Spray River Valley at Canyon Dam to Goat Creek and the Spray River. The closure also includes the drainage from Sundance Pass south into the Spray River.

The closure was put into effect on Monday and is expected to last until November.
