Tesla fires several Calgary employees

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Automaker Tesla has fired several of its employees at its Calgary service centre.

In a statement to 660 NEWS, Tesla confirms the employees were dismissed following an investigation into “repeated inappropriate exchanges between colleagues”, a violation of its workplace policies.

Tesla would not say what the inappropriate exchanges were, only that it was another employee who brought forward a complaint.

Tesla is assuring its Calgary car owners that the service centre remains open, and will be hiring new staff for the now vacant positions.
