Avenue Magazine: Calgary’s best restaurants 2019

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Some emerging names make the list in Avenue Magazine’s annual list of Calgary’s best restaurants.
Executive-editor Jennifer Hamilton said there are three new standouts.
“Those are Donna-Mac, Two Penny and Gorilla Whale. On top of that we have the top 20 overall, which is a list of many, many restaurants that have been on that list before because good restaurants tend to be consistently good year-after-year.”
The magazine uses food writers and experts that follow different criteria to make their picks such as ambiance, service, quality of the food, originality of the food and commitment to local.
Others included on the list are River Cafe, Native Tongues, Foreign Concept and Ten Foot Henry.
