Police arrest man wanted in Calgary shooting

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary police have arrested a man wanted in relation to a shooting earlier this month.

The shooting in question took place on February 14, 2019, in the 1400 block of Renfrew Drive N.E.

Police say Justin Fogg, 25, fled the scene following the early morning shooting.

As a result of tips from the public, Fogg was arrested last Sunday.

Upon his arrest, police seized items related to the shooting, as well as methamphetamine, GHB (gamma-hydroxybutyrate), brass knuckles, a taser and bear spray.

Eighteen additional charges were laid including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm, three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and ten counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.

Fogg will appear in court on March 15.
