CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary Transit riders are expressing some frustration about the Dalhousie LRT station.
In a post on Reddit, people complain about a pair of broken escalators — making it harder to move around in the station.
One person writes one of the moving staircases has been shut down for over a year, and both are currently out of commission for repairs.
Calgary Transit tells 660 NEWS that a five-week repair job began on one of the escalators last week, and the work should be done in the middle of March.

Transit adds crews are having difficulties fixing the escalators because they are old, and it is hard to find the proper replacement parts.
Most people are taking the stairs to go up and down at the station, and there is also still a working elevator.
