Popular waffle house to re-open

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A Calgary restaurant that closed its doors on New Year’s Day is already making a comeback.

Buttermilk Fine Waffles announced on its Instagram page that it will open a pop-up location in the Mission area starting Friday.

The owner of the popular restaurant was forced to close the location on 17 Ave. S.W. citing increases in property taxes, challenges in the economy and nearby construction.

The new location at 1919 4 Street S.W. will only open on weekends and holiday Mondays and will feature a revamped menu along with lower prices.
