Mt. Norquay in Banff National Park is offering fun for singles, with their Lifts of Love on Feb. 9.
“You register at 6 p.m. and at 7 p.m. you’ll be on the chair lift, speed dating,” said Robbins.
“Then you can meet up with who you met on the chair lift at the Lone Pine Bistro afterwards. They’ll have a DJ going on, and it’s a really great deal. It’s only $35, including your ski lift ticket and transport to and from Banff.”
In the city of Calgary, plenty of hotels are offering romance packages, including a new one in the East Village.
“The newly opened Alt Hotel in the East Village is really interesting.”
“Very funky design, it’s an Instagramers dream. You won’t want to leave, but if you do, it’s right next door to Charbar, and they’ve got a fantastic new winter menu with incredible cocktails.
