EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – Both the United Conservative Party (UCP) and its leader are condemning a piece of hate mail that was found at an Edmonton mosque.
A picture has emerged on Twitter of the rhetoric pointed towards Muslims in our province.
In the letter, it says “you and your religion don’t belong in Alberta”.
It goes on to say “Our Premier to be Jason Kenney is going to take Alberta back. So adapt if you want to stay.”
The Alberta Muslim Public Affairs Council said it covered up some of the more inflammatory and hateful rhetoric of the letter for the public, but did pass it along to police.
Both the UCP and Kenney are condemning the letter on Twitter.
