CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Very cold weather is headed our way so it might be just the right time to enjoy a hot chocolate.
The 7th annual YYC Hot Chocolate Fest kicks off Friday and runs until the end of February.
Joel Dryden said more than 75 businesses are participating and the funds will support Calgary Meals on Wheels.
“Meals are really high quality. People are frequently surprised by the quality of the meals. That does cost quite a bit to keep a facility like that running. An event like hot chocolate fest really directly supports us being able to support the needs of Calgarians who are in need of those services.”
And we’re off! With the inaugural sip at YYC Hot Chocolate Fest 2019, the festival is underway!
