Calgary artists Jann Arden is up for two awards

LONDON – Calgary-born Jann Arden is among the nominees for this year’s JUNO awards.

Arden and last year’s JUNO host Michael Buble are in the running for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year.

She is also up for Album of the Year along with Shawn Mendes, Three Days Grace, The Weeknd and Hubert Lenoir

Mendes is also up for Songwriter of the Year, Artist of the Year, and the Fan Choice Award.

The JUNOS also announced that singer Sarah McLachlan will host this year’s JUNO awards in London, Ontario

McLachlan, who rose to fame in the 1990s with international hits including “Angel” and “Building a mystery,” has won 12 JUNOS including an international achievement award and a humanitarian award.
