Police investigating dog attack on woman

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A woman is out of hospital after a dog attack in Saddle Ridge Sunday.

The woman believed to be in her 50s was walking near 88 Avenue and 52 Street N.E. around noon when she was attacked by three of the animals.

Bylaw services and Calgary police are now investigating and said the owner of the canines is co-operating.

The three dogs have been seized.

The City is assessing the dogs and has issued seven fines to this point. including on charges of an animal attack causing serious injury, running at large and having an unlicensed dog.
