Police find stolen goods, weapons in alleged NW drug house

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police have seized drugs, firearms and stolen mountain bikes after searching a house in the northwest.

Officers were looking into the residence after reports drugs were being distributed from the home.

Following a search warrant executed on Nov. 27, police found methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, magic mushrooms, three guns, and seven mountain bikes.

Eight people were taken into custody; five were arrested including 62-year-old Rudolfo Valentini who faces numerous charges including trafficking a controlled substance.

Police continue to investigate and are in the process of returning the stolen bikes to their rightful owners.
