Bill Morneau in Calgary to promote his fall fiscal update

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Finance Minister Bill Morneau will be in Calgary Tuesday to sell his fall fiscal update to the Calgary business community.
Morneau will be speaking to the Chamber of Commerce over the lunch hour on how Ottawa plans to increase competitiveness and attract global investment.
His fiscal update has been heavily criticized for not having enough measures to help the energy sector deal with the differential crisis.
His visit comes on the heels of a visit from the Prime Minister last Thursday that drew thousands of protestors.
Another pro-energy rally is planned in front of the Telus Convention Centre where Morneau is speaking, at 11:20 a.m.
