CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Thousands of Calgary Transit users can make a new plan for travelling around the city.
Calgary’s new ‘MAX’ rapid transit routes have officially launched running on three routes: East Hills to City Centre, Westbrook to Douglas Glen, and between Brentwood and Saddletowne.

A fourth MAX route in the southwest is under construction and will open between Downtown and Woodbine sometime next year.
The MAX stations have larger platforms, heated shelters, improved lighting, way finding signs and “next bus arrival time” displays.
Service on the new lines is running every 12-18 minutes during peak times.
