Spruce Meadows brings Christmas from around the world

CALGARY (660 NEWS)- The Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market is back for another holiday season.
The market features over 300 vendors from around the world, Senior Vice President Ian Alison said you can spend hours shopping.
“We have different gifts and wears from India, Egypt, Europe of course, there is a great deal of content that comes from some of our vendors in South America, obviously there’s Canadian production.”
There is also food and entertainment.
“You can eat your way around the world and pick up all your Christmas treats well in advanced of the holiday season,” said Alison.
Alison warns that the ring road construction can make getting to Spruce Meadows complicated, he encourages people to use the market’s complimentary shuttle from the Somerset-Bridlewood LRT Station.
The market runs for the next few weekends and admission is $12 at the gate.
