Carter Camper scores in overtime, lifts Griffins over Moose 3-2

GRAND RAPID, Mich. — Carter Camper scored 35 seconds into overtime as the Grand Rapids Griffins slipped past the Manitoba Moose 3-2 on Saturday in American Hockey League action.

Chris Terry and Dominic Turgeon also scored for the Griffins (8-7-1), who got 14 saves from Harri Sateri.

JC Lipon and opened the scoring for the Moose (8-7-1) and Tye McGinn forced the extra period when he found the back of the net at 19:25 of the third.

Eric Comrie turned away 22-of-25 shots in a losing cause.

Grand Rapids went 0 for 5 on the power play, while Manitoba finished up 0 for 3 on the man advantage.
