Photos for Olympic facilities to be released today

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgarians will get their first glimpse of what the Saddledome and McMahon Stadium could look like with millions of dollars in renovations should Calgary win the Olympic bid on Friday.

The Calgary Bid Corporation is set to unveil images of the updated facilities along with the new fieldhouse and a 5,000 seat hockey arena at a media event at McMahon Stadium.

Under the current plan, half-a-billion dollars would be used to make improvements to old facilities, which also include the Olympic Oval, the sliding track and ski hill at Winsport, and the BMO Centre and the Big Four Building on Stampede grounds.
