One man killed in crash west of Calgary

A 63-year-old man is dead and another man has been injured after a pick-up truck rolled along Highway 22 between Bragg Creek and Redwood Meadows.

Redwood Meadows Emergency Services, Cochrane RCMP and AHS were called to the scene around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

When crews arrived they found one person had managed to get out of the truck on their own. The second was pronounced dead at the scene.

RCMP say it appears the early 90s dark blue GMC Sierra was travelling northbound on Highway 22 when it left the road and rolled in the east ditch.

The cause of the crash is still being determined.
