Impaired driving charge laid after Cochrane RCMP vehicle is side-swiped

A Calgary woman is charged with impaired driving after an RCMP vehicle was side-swiped.
A Cochrane RCMP Officer was on Highway-1 completing a traffic stop on Monday, when the cruiser was hit by another car.
55-year-old Lorna Shackelly is facing a number charges including impaired driving.
She is scheduled to appear in court in October.
The police vehicle sustained minor damage, but nobody was injured.
