An RCMP officer from central Alberta is facing an impaired driving charge after an off-duty incident.
RCMP in Killam say they were called out to the local swimming pool July 5th on reports that the officer had driven to the pool while intoxicated.
Constable Andrea Bole, who works with the nearby Viking RCMP detachment, is now facing one charge of impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Police say Cst. Bole has been placed on administrative duty while the case works its way through the court.
