Six injured in separate collisions west of Calgary

Half a dozen people were hurt in separate crashes west of Calgary within one kilometre of each other.

The first involved three vehicles on Highway 22. Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries.

While Cochrane RCMP were investigating that crash, a second three-vehicle collision happened on the same highway causing non-life threatening injuries to two others.

Highway 22 was closed for a number of hours Monday afternoon.

RCMP have not yet said what caused the crashes.
