Caution is being advised along the Bow River west of Calgary.
A flood watch has been issued for the Bow in the Town of Banff and upstream.
A high stream flow advisory has also been issued for Cochrane and surrounding areas.
Rain and snow in higher elevations are being blamed for the swollen waterways.
According to the Town of Banff website, 25-35 mm of rain is expected for the Upper Bow River Basin.
Officials say while they are expecting high water levels, they don’t anticipate any widespread flooding.
