CPS find car involved in serious hit and run, still looking for driver

Calgary police have found the vehicle involved in a hit and run that caused serious injuries last month, but continue to look for the driver.

On April 22nd just before 3 a.m. at the intersection of 2nd Street and 15th Avenue S.W., two men were walking across the street when one of them was hit.

The car sped off, leaving the victim, a 50-year-old man, with serious injuries.

After a call out to the public for help, police say the vehicle, a 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse, was found, but they’re still hoping to find out who was behind the wheel.

If you have any information on the case, contact Constable Curenew at the Traffic Office at 403-567-4000.
