In the sports world, #WHLPlayoffs was popular, as the quest for the 2018 Rogers WHL Championship Series and Ed Chynoweth Cup continued. The Everett Silvertips and Swift Current Broncos begin the title series Friday, but social media users were still talking about a goal from a Silvertips loss, Saturday night.
Connor Dewar set an Everett record, and tied a league record with the fastest goal to begin a WHL playoff game. He scored seven seconds after the puck dropped.
