Hazmat crews cordon off Okotoks home following drug-related arrests

Fire hazmat crews have cordoned off a home after a search warrant was executed, which resulted in a few arrests by the RCMP Tuesday.

Emergency crews spent the entire day going in and out of the home in the South Railway area. EMS was called in as a precaution.

A Hazmat tent can be seen outside the home.

While Mounties are not elaborating why the house has been cordoned off, the RCMP does say there is no risk to the public at this time.

The on-going incident follows Okotoks RCMP arresting two men and two women, who now face property and drug-related charges.
