The Academy Awards: the movies, the winners, Jimmy Kimmel‘s monologue and the #MeToo movement were all trending Monday morning on social media (and likely around the office.)
Movie fans and Film critics were sure to find #Oscars in their social media new feeds celebrating (or perhaps questioning) winners like The Shape of Water, Gary Oldman and/or Frances McDormand.
And while Macaulay Culkin got all dressed up, he didn’t attend the show, or watch it.
But, that didn’t stop him from live-tweeting quips, tricks, spoilers and things he was doing Sunday night, that didn’t involve watching the show.
His comments were still being like and retweeted Monday morning.
Meanwhile, and with a very different tone, Bruce McArthur was a name shared in many Canadian news feeds.
The alleged Toronto-area serial killer was already facing six counts of first degree murder.
