My World Conference takes place in schools across Calgary

Over 1,100 middle and junior high school students and teachers are gathering in Calgary Thursday for the 10th annual My World Conference.
The students from CBE schools will learn about local and global social justice issues from local, national, and international organizers and activists.
The keynote and session presenters include Brian Keating, Michelle Thrush, and Alienation.
The conference is taking place at the Genesis Centre in the northeast.
